Study of lameness in the equine athlete reviewd on basis of sports performed

Abstract

This study was conducted through review of radiograps, scientific literatures, journals, books and accredited websites. The objective is to discuss disease causing lameness in 6 types of utility horses used for dressage, show jumping endurance, eventing, polo and racing as a result of damage caused by stress and mechanical factors to bones, joints and related structures.
