Analisis Ekonomi Dampak Pencemaran di Perairan Cilacap Kabupaten Cilacap

Abstract

The presence of Pertamha UP IV Cilacap in Cilacap Regency has significant role in increasing economic contribution for public, directly and indirectly. In other hand, the activities Pertamina also has a negative impact from gilled which has polluted the waters territory of Cilacap. During period 2006-2008, it had four accidents of tanker shipwreck. Based on some research, those cases have impacted on the shrimp capture by fishermen and decreased the function of mangrove ecosystem In order to quantify the impact, it is important to value the economic loss in the area. The study aim to value of the economic loss imported by pollution using approach of bioeconomic model and the interlinkage of mangrove and shrimp especially for spawning and nursery grounds. The results shows that the value of economic loss of shrimps caused by oil spill in the area are Rp. 879,248,019,955.97 in the year of 2000 and Rp.882,853,204,695.74 in the Year of 2004. There are strong relation between mangrove area and productivity of shrimps which increasing of mangrove area per kilometer square has improved the productivity of shrimps equal to 50.12 tons. The decline of one kilometer square of mangrove has an impact to the productivity reduction of shrimps as 42.78 tons and causing loss of gross revenue of Rp. 909,652,686.67 per years.
