Abstract
Information regarding the gene(s)controlling CMV resistance and its inheritance is important for breeding CMV resistance in hot pepper. CMV is theh most widwspread virus infecting hot pepper in Indonesia, and its infection has caused major yield reduction. Currently, such information is limitted, especially foro commercially grown hot pepper in Indonesia.
