Aktivitas insektisida dan penghambat peneluran ekstrak Cerbera odollam dan Cymbopogon citratus terhadap lalat buah Bactrocera carambolae pada belimbing

Abstract

Lalat buah belimbing Bactrocera carambolae (Drew dan Hancock) (Diptera: fly complex) yang tersebar di Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Amerika Selatan, Sumatera, Guyana, dan Brasil. Kerusakan yang disebabkan lalat buah pada tanaman belimbing secara kuantitatif yaitu jatuhnya buah muda yang terserang dan secara kualitatif yaitu buah menjadi busuk dan berisi larva.

Carambola fruit fly Bactrocera carambolae (Drew & Hancock), a member of Bactrocera species complex, is a serious pest of star fruits which can attack early stage fruits. Female B. carambolae leaves oviposition puncture marks which then necrotic symptoms develop around the spots after some time on star fruits. The objective of this study was to determine the insecticidal and oviposition deterrent activity of methanolic seed and leaf extracts of Cerbera odollam dan Cympologon citrates against B. carambolae. Foro comparison, we used neem oil (Azadirachta indica) produced by PT. Intaran Indonesia (Bali). In adult mortality test, sendextract of C. odollam (LC50 0.099%) was 2.9, 12.9, and 1.2 times more toxic than leaf extract C. odollam, stem extract of C. citrates, and neem oil,respectively.
