Hubungan Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) dengan Temperature Humidity Index (THI) Kota Depok
Abstract
Urban green space is an elongated area /point and /or clustered, the use of which is more open, a place to grow plants, whether grown naturally or are deliberately planted. Urban green space has a great benefit to the environment of the city, including the benefits of climatological, ecological, aesthetic, and tourism. Depok City is a strategic area for the capital city of Jakarta because of Depok has a function as a buffer zone in southern Jakarta. This study attemps to estimate values of air temperatures using Landsat data, functional relationship between air temperature and urban green space, and also relationship between urban green space and temperature humidity index in Depok City. Air temperature are derived from Landsat data using energy balance method, while urban green space are classified by using unsupervised method. Estimation air temperature of Depok City in 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, and 2006 are 24.5 oC, 25.5 oC, 26 oC, 26 oC, and 30 oC, while urban green space are 63%, 57%, 55%, 55%, and 42%. Functional relationship between air temperature and urban green space for the study area best represented by a non-linier equation. Temperature humidity index values of depok city in 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, and 2006 are 25.oC, 25 oC, 26 oC, 26 oC, and 27 oC.
