Comparative study of the growth and survival rates oh hard coral transplant in biorock and non biorock artificial reef

Abstract

Field transplantation experiment using Mineral Acretion technique with under water low voltage (3 V, and 6 A) direct current was carried out on two thermatypic corals Acropora tenuis, and A. Cytherea from April to November 2009 in Pramuka island, Indonesia. Primary objective was to campare between the growth and survival rates of corals transplanted on the Biorock artificial reef site.
