Spirulina fusiformis is used as natural-feed for fish and shrimp, and as human food. The aim of this research was to create an efficient formulation culture media for producing a high quality of S. fusiformis. The treatments was consisted of Zarrouk modification medium, urea-based medium, and chicken manure-based medium. Cultured of S. fusiformis were performed in three weeks in jars with volume 2 L and wooden-plastic tank sized 5x1,5 m with ± 20 cm of water height, and S. fusiformis’s initial density 2,0x104 cell/mL. The parameters observed, including the population density, the specific growth rate, the biomass, the brightness, the proximate analysis, the chlorophyll content, and the water quality. The results showed that chicken manure-based medium has the value of population density, specific growth rate, and biomass better compared to other treatments. Culture using an inorganic fertilizer-based medium, urea could be used as a substitute for Zarrouk modification medium, which was observed from population density, the specific growth rate, the biomass, and the harvest time. The best of nutritional values were shown by S. fusiformis which was cultured in Zarrouk modification medium, urea-based medium, and chicken manure-based medium, respectively. Harvesting time on Zarrouk modification medium, urea-based medium, and chicken manure-based medium on 9th until 10th day. Remanuring can be done after harvesting to continually production.en
