Penambahan kinetin dan CaP terhadap multiplikasi tanaman ubi kayu (Mannihot esculenta Crantz.) varietas Adira 2 dan Adira 4 secara in vitro

Abstract

The research was aim to know the effect of kinetin and CaP concentration to growth and shoot multiplication of cassava (Mannihot esculenta Crantz.) var. Adira 2 and Adira 4 by in vitro culture. The research was the completely randomize design which were arranged by factorial with two factors. The first factor is concentration of kinetin (0, 1, 1.5, 3 ppm) and the second factor is concentration of CaP (0, 1, 2 ppm).The result showed that concentration of CaP application couldn’t effect significantly except on variable including diameter of callus for var. Adira 4. Concentration of kinetin could effect significantly of variables including number of shoot and diameter of callus for var. Adira 2 and Adira 4. The highest of shoot multiplication for var. Adira 2 and Adira 4 resulted by medium MS + 3 ppm BAP. Shoot multiplication on medium MS + 3 ppm BAP at 20 weeks after culture were 31.0 shoots for Adira 2 and 33 shoots for Adira 4 respectively.
