Kesinambungan usaha bisnis kemitraan ayam ras pedaging kasus di Tunas Mekar Farm Bogor

Abstract

Contract farming has been in existence for many years as a means of organizing the commercial agricultural production of both large scale and small scale farmers. Contract farming can be defined as an agreement between farmers and marketing firms form the production and supply of agricultural product under forward agreements, frequently at predetermined prices. The objective of this research is to know relation between the analized factors wich are (1) business ethics (2) leadership (3) partnership motivation (4) performance numerical (5) contract agreements, and the sustainable contract farming. Primary data were collected by interviewing the farmers and analized using multiple regression. The result of the estimates equation of sustainable contract farming is Y= -1,740+2,939X1+1,817X4–0,911X5. Only business ethics and performance numerical were significant at the 95% level. The condition of the contract farming at Tunas Mekar Farm will be sustainable if the performance of business ethics and performance numerical improved significantly. It means that both side involved in the broiler business contract should make the best efforts to maintain it.
