Pemetaan daerah rawan tanah longsor di Kabupaten Cianjur menggunakan sistem informasi geografis
Abstract
Land slide or soil movement is one of geological disaster caused by natural or unnatural factors. The impact of this disaster is very damaging for environmental or social economics aspect. Hence, this disaster is needed to monitor because it's event can be suddenly. From January until August 2008, Indonesia has been experiencing 300 times of natural disasters, at least of 263 lives have lost because of this. Natural disaster consists of landslides, floods, earthquakes, etc. There were 1.927 people heavily wounded, 66.988 minor injuries (Depkes, 2008). There were 192.221 people should be evacuated in West Java because the province was one of the most affected. LIP1 researcher (2008) reported that "land movement" in 71% of FFTest Java mostly caused by 58% landslide and 16% landslide which followed with faults. One of landslide mitigation activity is mapping of landslide vulnerability on a national and regional scale.
