Analisis wilayah rawan pangan dan gizi dalam perspektif perencanaan wilayah: studi kasus kota Bogor
Abstract
The aims of this research are to identify the areas that are vulnerable to food and nutrition insecurity and, to find characteristics of food insecurity regions at sub district level in Bogor City. Based on that identification, the strategies to overcome the problems which is focused on food and nutrition issues are developed. The indicators used are poverty level lighth of roads, access to health facilities, Rasio of people per doctor to population density and percentage of malnourished children. All the indicators are analyzed by scoring method analysis; logistic regression analysis, satellite images analysis, AHP and spatial analysis. The research shows that there are three categories of food nutrition vulnerability: (a) vulnerable, (b) moderate and (c) food secure. There are 8 sub districts which are categorized as vulnerable; 23 sub district as moderate and 37 sub districts belong to safe status. The vulnerable areas (or food insecure regions) are characterized by the location of the sub district which are for from city center; the high percentage of the poverty population; the high percentage of malnutrition infant and poor quality of sanitations. The Other characteristics are the low capacity and facilities; and the low health service facilities and low quality of basic infrastructure. Based on the result and the analysis, the priority strategies to over come the problems of food insecure areas in Bogor city are regional economic development, community empowerment and improvement of human resources, facilities and health services, basic infrastructure, network development and strengthening coordination of among related parties and the development of environmentally friendly territory.
