Ecootourism, Conservation Mangement, and Regional Government Autonomy
Abstract
~r the ~nd deca.<le of 20th century, the rate of world tourism development was related to"nature-oriented" travelling so high In tourism terminology d:l~ lra~e 109 IS ~ncel~ed ~ eco~ourism. Almost all countries in the world respond to this new concept of tourism enth~siastically, in particular' e opmg countrl~s whl~h nch WIth natural areas with regard to foreign exchange from international tourists. Unfortunately those natural areas ~ protected I ~re.as t hlch deslgn.ated as such b~c~use of intrinsically unique, beautiful, high biodiversity, and ecologically fragile.
