Beberapa Karakteristik Morpologi dan Fisiologi Kedelai Toleran dan Peka terhadap Cekaman Kekeringan
Abstract
Changes in morphological and physiological characteristics of soybeans (Glycine mar L) were analysed in response to drought stress. Fifteen drought-tolerant genotypes and 3 drought-sensitive genotypes were subjected to drought condition by regulating water suppw in greenhouse. The morphological and physiological responses were identified by measuring root lenght, shoot 8nd root dry-weight, root to shoot ratio, leaf osmotic-potential, and free-proline content in the leaf. Mwt sf the tolerant genotypes had root-systems longer and weighter than the sensitive genotypes under drought colldition. The drought stress tended to cause leaf osmotic-potential of some tolerant genotypes decreased, and proline acenmalation increased slightly.
