Study on Suitability and Development of Green Mussel (Mytilus viridis) Culture in Kalibaru, Cilincing District, North Jakarta, Dietriech G. Bengen and Ernan Rustandi
Abstract
The objective of this research are to know biophysics characteristic of coastal area resourc~, and concerning emlogy and gconomic aspect, and also to d-rmine the best alternative for development of green mussel condudng. 'Ihe h e & of this resear& are to give input for fisherman societies, private sector, governmental, and NGO concerning development of grem mussel concluding in KaIibaru Village, Cdincing D h c t , North Jakarta to do their activities. The result of this study were the condition of territorial water still can be defended as effort having economic impact for his socieky. However require to be conducted by efforts repair of environment, so that support adivity of green mussel coflducting VMynlus virihs) friendly and environment have &don. Water condition in Kalibaru Village, Cilincing District, North Jakarta actually still can be prevented as an effort that have economical impact four there societies, because from 10 station only 3 station that obviously not suitable. The main hierarchy were developed in this resarch are green mussel conducting as an income source of the fisherman in Kalibaru Village, Clincing Distria North Jakarta, and the second hierarchy consisting of five development a k d v e those are, 1) Developing activtty of fishery conduaing (score 0.2828); 2) Developing activrty of Mdly fishery environment (score 0.2065); 3) Develaping activity of other fdery result (score 0.1460); 4) Sdement of conducting m m and a h mash1 area mviment (score 0.1356); 5) Dewloping activity of tourism (score 0.1201). Value of PV and BIC h v i t y of greea mussel conducting equal to Rp Rp. 7.3 15.952.620,- and 3.86; personally Rp. 68.156.712,- and 4.284.24 (bigger than l), meaning investment this effort gve clean benefit equal to 4.24 times; rill fold from expense.
