      Abstract
This research was to know the effect addition of coloring agent in the rations on the performance, the percentage of bursa fabricius, carcass and broiler chicken viscera weight of liver, heart, kidney, gizzard and weight spleen broiler chicken. This research used 100 DOC Hubbard Strain, which was kept, in system litter for four weeks. The ration was composed with 21% protein and 2900 Kcal/kg metabolism energy. Design used in the experiment was Completely Randomized Design with four treatments, they were R1: ration with no coloring agent (control), R2: ration with the addition of 0.6% curcuma, R3: ration with the addition of 0.04% tartrazine, and R4: ration with the addition of 0.04% egg yellow. Each treatment used three replicates and every replicate use eight-broiler chicken. The variable that observed was feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion, final body weight, percentage of bursa fabricius, carcass and broiler chicken viscera. The data were Analyzed of Variance (ANOVA). If its were significant effect, then would be analyzed by Duncans Multiple Range Test. Feed consumption averages from the research: R1 (1111.44g), R2 (1021.61g), R3 (909.43g) and R4 (1078.75g). Body weight gain: R1 (700.91g), R2 (652.36g), R3 (588.97g) and R4 (720.02g). Feed conversion: R1 (1.59), R2 (1.56), R3 (1.51) and R4 (1.52). Final body weight: R1 (742.70), R2 (695.56), R3 (629.37) and R4 (761.56). The 3 result showed that all of the treatment did not give the significant influence to the feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion and final body weight. So that can be concluding that the addition of coloring agent in diet broiler did not influence broiler performance. The result showed that using the feed coloring agent in the diets was very significantly (P<0.01) decreased the percentage of bursa fabricius, which the averages of R1, R2, R3 and R4 is 0.21, 0.13, 0.09 and 0.11%. But were not significant influence the percentage carcass and broiler chicken viscera. The weight averages of carcass is 58.74-60.02%, weight of liver: 2.7-2.92%, heart: 0.56-0.71%, kidney: 0.27-0.28%, gizzard: 2.98-3.19% and weight of spleen is 0.21-0.23%. The conclusion was the treatment did not give the significant to the performance, percentage weight of carcass, liver, kidney, heart, gizzard and spleen. The result showed that using the feed coloring agent in the diets was very significantly (P<0,01) decreased the percentage of bursa fabricius.
