Abstract

Field experiments were conducted to determine the critical period of ginger on the competition with weeds, from November 1989 to June 1990. Symmetrical method was used with the treatment of weed free (0-30, 0-60, 0-90, 0-120 and 0-180 day after planting) and with weed period (0-30, 0-60, 0-90, 0-120 and 0-180 day after planting). In second experiment with weed period (0, 0-45, 0-90 and 0-180 day alter planting) were combined with manure (0, 10, 20 and 30 ton/ha).
