Evaluasi Daya Hasil dan ketahanan Cabai (Capsicum annuum L.) terhadap Antraknosa yang disebabkan oleh Colletorichum acutatum [Makalah Seminar]
Abstract
This study aimed to obtain genotypes of chili plants that are resistant to antrachnose caused by Colletotrichum acutatum and has a high yield. This research was conducted in April until September 2009 at the experimental Leuwikopo with altitude ± 190 m above sea level and the Laboratory of Plant Breeding and Genetics Section, Department of Agronomy and Horticulture. This research was conducted in the field and laboratory, using randomized Complete Design Group, one of the factors and two replications. The results showed that IPB C14, IPB C15, IPB C128, IPB C129 and IPB C131 are genotypes that had high for weight of fruit per plant. Genotypes IPB C14, IPB C15, IPB C128, IPB C129 and IPB C131 had weights of fruits per plant close to 500 g/plant. IPB C128 is a chili that has a high yield and relatively resistant to antrachnoose. Genotype IPB C128 included quality I based on the of fruit length and diameter according to SNI fresh red chilli. This genotype has the potential to be developed as Open Polinated Variety (OPV). Genotype IPB C15 is a chili that has the best resistance against the three isolates of Colletotrichum acutatum. This genotype is one source for resistance against antraknosa and the potential to become donors to the nature of these elders.
