Analisis mineral lempung tanah regosol lombok dengan menggunakan sinar x dalam kaitannya dengan penentuan sifat dan cara pengelolaan tanah

Abstract

The experiment was caried out at Mineralogy Laboratory of Soil Direction, Agriculture Faculty, Bogor University Agriculture and Mineralogy Laboratory of Soil Research and Agroclimate Center, Bogor from October to November 1997. The method which using on the experiment based on phyisical properties, that is x-ray with refer to Clay Mineral Analysis Method, Soil Direction, Agriculture Faculty, Bogor University Agriculture, that consist of two parts, i.e. (1) sifting and decantation (centrifuge), and (2) saturation by ion Mg and K, solvation, and warming. The results showed that Regosols of Lombok contains of several kinds of primery and secondary clay minerals, like K-Feldspar (3.218Ao), Quartz (3.347 Ao), Crysthobalite (4.063 Ao), Kaolinite (7.182 Ao), Talks (9.461 Ao), and Augits (6.497 Ao). Regosols of Lombok formed from parent materials volkan which not advanced develop. Having phyisical and chemical properties not good, thus in his management need to added organic matter and fertilizer, particularly nitrogen, phosphat, and potassium and giving lime of dolomite for increasing land productivity.
