Kelimpahan dan Komposisi Jenis Fitoplankton pada Kolam yang Diberi Jerami dan Pupuk Kandang
Abstract
Phytoplanton is water organism which has important role, example as primary producer in the waters. The growth and development of phytoplankton can be influenced by nutrient. The nutrient which is needed by the phytoplankton can be given with natural fertilizer and artificial fertilizer. Natural fertilizer usually used are straw and manure. The research has an aim to find out the abundance and genre composition of phytoplankton in the pond which is given straw and various manure. The sampling was done after 2 weeks from the present of straw and manure. The data analysis are including abundance and genre composition of phytoplankton, diversity, index (H'), dominance index (C) and evenness index (E). Water quality analysis which obsewated are temperature, p y DO and nutrient (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite and orthophosphate). Multiple limier regression analysis is used to find out the relation between nutrient and phytoplankton abundance. The observation result shows that there are three divisions, which are Cyanophyta (13 genus), Chrysophyta (6 genus) and Chlorophyta (G genus). The phytoplankton division that has highest composition is Cyanophyta. The highest abundance of phytoplankton can be founded in the pond which is given straw and cow manure. The growth and development of phytoplankton are influenced by experimental pond condition. The result from water quality analysis shows that the condition of experimental pond can support the growth and development of phytoplankton. The difference of phytoplankton abundance can be influenced by the different manure which is given to every experimental pond.
