      Abstract
      This research was conducted in SDN 04 DRAMAGA Bogor, West Java. Method that was used to determine the respondents was Startified Random Sampling. Method used to analyze the data is average scores and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The average score was used to describe the individual characteristics, sosial environment, psychological factors, exposure to television and cognitive learning in children. SEM was used to determine the relationship between individual characteristics and sosial environment with television exposure and the relationship between sosial environment, psychological factors and exposure to the medium of television with the child’s cognitive learning. In this study, the medium of television exposure in children is high but low cognitive learning. There was a significant relationship (p <0,05) between individual characteristics and sosial environment with television exposure in children. There is also a significant relationship (p <0,05) between sosial environment and exposure to the medium of television with the child's cognitive learning. In reversal, there was not any significant relationship (p <0,05) between the cognitive psychology factors to learning in children. Keywords: television, children, media exposure
