Penyusunan Sistem Informasi Geografis untuk Pengembangan Kawasan Peternakan Ayam Buras di Kabupaten Ciamis Jawa Barat

Abstract

One of the efficient information system, with capability to manage complex structure data with large number and can help making right decision is Geographical Information System (GIS). Activity is focus on native chicken husbandly area at Ciamis Regency, West Java province. Primary and secondary data is needed. To take inventory and support infrastructure at husbandly area using Global Position System instrument, and for interview using questionnaire. Composing GIS husbandly area start with prepare one computer set and then insta1ling Arc View/Info software along with management map data and the attribute. Native chicken is the superior animal at Ciamis Regency, with score 55,75, with 250 raise chickens taU scale consists 22S hens and 2S cocks, carryout with the owner. Hatchery system using natural process with all investment Rp.7.SOO.000.-, while the operational cost consists of feed and medicines. Revenue sources come from egg and chicken selling. Financial analysis do it one half year period for six time growing period of the native chicken. Financial analysis show for growing native chicken business is proper with profit rate Rp.l0.400.000.3.- yearly, and gross B/C 1,71. Payback period is also relatively fast, 1,56 for interest rate 15%. Key words: GIS, husbandly are
