Pengaruh Saat Pemanenan terhadap Produksi dan Kualitas Produksi Empat Varietas Kangkung Darat (Ipanoea reptans Poir)

Abstract

A greenhouse experiment was conducted. at Tajur, Bogor. Four upland kangkung were used, namely: SUkabumi, l(uningan, Bangkok and sutera. All planted from seeds and in addition for Sukabumi cuttings were also tested. The result show that rapid early growth was shown by Bangkok, Sukabumi A, and sutera. Bangkok is the best variety, giving minimum yield of 49.9 g/plant within 6 weeks with 75 percent edible portion. The best harvesting date was twice at 5 and 8 weeks for Sukabumi, twice at 4 and 7 weeks for Bangkok and once at 7 weeks for Kuningan and SUtera 0 A comparison were being made for their growth habit.
