The Influence of Soybean Curd Sludge Addition, Calcium Addition and Temperature Treatment on the Growth and the Development of the Lumbricus rubellus worm and the Quality of Vermicompost by using the Media of Manure.
Abstract
Earthworm, gives to human beings, a lot of utilities and benefits. Nowadays, people start to develop and to multiply it by using the technique of Vermiculture. The growth and the development of earthworm is, among other things, influenced by the availability of organic matter, acidity, humidity and temperature. Every kind of earthworm needs different sorts of condition for its growth and its development. Yet, all this time, the vermiculture process executed, is still using a mixture of several kinds of earthworms, which doesn't result an optimum growth and development of worms. Purifying the different kinds of earthworms is needed in order to create an optimum condition for the earthworm's growth and development and also, for the vermicompost result, itself. The aim of the research is to fmd out the influence of soybean curd sludge addition, calcium addition and temperature treatment on the growth and the development of the Lumbricus rubellus worm by using the media of manure.
