Model perencanaan tata ruang wilayah pesisir : kasus Pantai Utara Kabupaten Bekasi

Abstract

The propose of the study is to purposes as spatial planning model for coastal areas, integrating land and marine aspect. The comp lexity of issues in coastal areas such as heterogentiy of life, potentials of economi c resources, and tobe explored and developed. Coastal areas as the basic matrix for development i s dynamic, difficult for clear and exact delineation, and do not have clear manage ment boundaries. The approach employed to formulate the spatial plan ning model for coastal areas is a descriptive method both quantitative and quali tative. The dynamics taking place in coastal areas require different planning approach from a land based spatial planning, and the main indicators are its carrying capacity, land suitability and economic value of each land utilitation. These indicators also be app lied in the coastal zone spatial planning model purposed in this study, with the n ecessary modification as appropriate in coastal zone.
