      The Performanee of Mule Duck with Different Level Addition of Kangkung (Ipomoeae aquatica) in Ransum.

      Abstract
      Stress is easily happen on mule duck because it has high nervous characteristic like its dam. Stress will reduce mule duck performance and one of solution to handle stress is by giving antistress or transquilezer. Kangkung is one of water pland and it can be use as transquilezer so it is appropiate to be used antistress medicine for mwe duck. Kangkung have content protein, fat, cartbohidrat, calsium, phosphor, iron, vitamin A, B I, C, caroten, sitosterol and hentriacontan which are needed for body and to increase mule duck performance. This experiment purpose are to study whether kangkung performance also to find the right kangkung suplementation dosage to increase mule duck perfonnance as meat ripe. This experiment was done in September up to November 2002 in Laboratory of Science Produce Livestock Poultry Block B, Department of Science Produce Livestock. Faculty Of VeterinaIy, Bogor Institute of Agriculture. This experiment used 80 mule duck with age of 5-10 week without unsexed, commercial feed and kangkung. This experiment used complety randomized design with four treatment with the level 0%, 5%, 10% and 15%. Every treatment consistfor repetation so it were obtained 16 unit research and every reseach unit consist five mule duck. The variable which were observed are feed consumption. body weight, body weight grow, feed convertion and Income Over Feed and Duckling Cost. Data were analized with anova and continued with Fisher's lest significant different. The experiment of varian analyzed shows that kangkung suplementation in feed significantly influenced into final body weight, body weight grow, but this not significantly influenced for feed consumption during this research. Kangkung suplementation 15% gives the best feed convertion which is 3,62 and give the highest Income Over Feed and Duck Cost. Keyword: mule duck, kangkung (Ipomoea Aquatica), performance, ransum
