Intensitas komunikasi petani daerah penyangga kawasan Taman Nasional dalam melakukan konservasi tanah dan air secara berkelanjutan: kasus pada empat desa binaan Taman Nasional Gunung Gede Pangrango, Provinsi Jawa Barat

Abstract

The aims of this study are to analysis farmer characteristic factors, environment factor and farmer intensity of communication that influence farmers behavior in sustainability land and waters conservation in buffer zone of Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park of conservation area. This research was done in four villages in buffer zone conservation area of Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park of West Java Province. It start since May until August 2007 with total sample are 120 respondents. Collecting primier data was done by observation and reinterview. In other that secondary data was collecting by documents and reports from the relevant institution. To analysis data were used SPSS program. Results of this research show that ages characteristic factors, experience level, and belonging mass media are real influence and significant into communication intensity. Environmental factors is real influence and significant into communication intensity. Beside that, environment factors in farmer business of technology variable of conservation, farmer business organization, and social culture value are real influence and significant into farmer behavior of knowledge aspect and action in sustainability land and waters conservation. Intensity of farmers communication is real influence and significant into farmers behavior (like knowledge, affective, and action) in buffer zone are of conservation area of Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park in sustainability land and waters conservation.
