Abstract

Agriculture subsector that has potential contribution for regional development is horticulture. At Sukamaju village, district of Cikakak, residency of Sukabumi, the field is lay fallow in dry season and as the consequency is low income for farmer's. Embung as irigation source was purposed to iilterlsify land utilization in dry season for vegetables as recomnlended froin previous biophysical research. Farmer's respon for the three vegetables commodities is very high, where is the decision is based on market potency and as so far the damand still suplies from other area.
