      Abstract
      Masa kehamilan adalah waktu yang sangat penting yang memerlukan perhatian khusus terhadap kebutuhan gizi, karena kekurangan nutrisi dapat berakibat buruk bagi kesehatan ibu dan pertumbuhan janin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi tentang pentingnya status gizi bagi ibu hamil dalam upaya mencegah preeklamsia melalui penggunaan guidebook. Metode yang digunakan adalah desain eksperimen dengan pendekatan one group pre-test post-test, dengan melibatkan 33 orang ibu hamil sebagai peserta. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner untuk menilai pengetahuan sebelum dan setelah mendapatkan edukasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman ibu hamil mengenai status gizi dan preeklamsia setelah menyelesaikan sesi penyuluhan. Guidebook terbukti efektif dalam menyampaikan informasi yang diperlukan, sehingga ibu hamil menjadi lebih memahami pentingnya menjaga pola makan yang seimbang. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi untuk pengembangan program edukasi gizi yang lebih baik bagi ibu hamil, serta meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya kesehatan selama periode kehamilan.
       
      Pregnancy is a very important time that requires special attention to nutritional needs, because nutritional deficiencies can have adverse effects on maternal health and fetal growth. This study aims to provide information about the importance of nutritional status for pregnant women in an effort to prevent preeclampsia through the use of guidebooks. The method used was an experimental design with a one group pre-test post-test approach, involving 33 pregnant women as participants. Data was obtained through a questionnaire to assess knowledge before and after receiving education. The results showed a significant increase in pregnant women's understanding of nutritional status and preeclampsia after completing the counseling session. The guidebook proved to be effective in delivering the necessary information, so that pregnant women better understand the importance of maintaining a balanced diet. It is hoped that this study can be a reference for the development of better nutrition education programs for pregnant women, as well as increasing awareness of the importance of health during the pregnancy period.
