Pengaruh Penerapan Cara Pembenihan Ikan yang Baik Terhadap Kinerja Unit Pembenihan Ikan Lele di Kabupaten Karawang

Abstract

Cara Pembenihan Ikan yang Baik (CPIB) merupakan standar sistem mutu perbenihan paling sederhana yang harus diterapkan oleh pembenih ikan dalam memproduksi benih ikan yang bermutu. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penerapan CPIB terhadap kinerja unit pembenihan ikan lele di Kabupaten Karawang. Penelitian dilakukan pada 44 unit pembenihan bersertifikasi CPIB menggunakan metode sensus dan dianalisis dengan pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menyajikan data bahwa seluruh aspek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja unit pembenihan (p<0,05). Nilai R-square sebesar 0,80 mengindikasikan bahwa model mempengaruhi kinerja unit pembenihan sebesar 80%. Model dinyatakan valid dan reliabel (outer model =0,70; construct reliability =0,70). Hasil identifikasi terhadap tingkat kinerja mengindikasikan bahwa motivasi utama unit pembenihan dalam mengadopsi sertifikasi CPIB adalah meningkatkan mutu produk dan memperluas pangsa pasar. Salah satu kendala utama dalam penerapan CPIB terletak pada rendahnya konsistensi dalam pencatatan rekaman kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) diperoleh tingkat kesesuaian rata-rata sebesar 93,01% dengan nilai rata-rata kesenjangan (GAP) sebesar -0,31. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa kondisi aktual di lapangan belum sepenuhnya mampu memenuhi ekspektasi pelaku usaha unit pembenihan ikan lele di Kabupaten Karawang.

Good Fish Hatchery Practices (CPIB) are the simplest quality system standards for hatchery operations that must be implemented by fish breeders in producing quality fish seeds. This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing Good Fish Seed Breeding Practices (CPIB) on the performance of catfish breeding units in Karawang Regency. The research was conducted on 44 CPIB-certified hatchery units using the census method and analyzed with the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. The research results present data that all aspects have a positive and significant impact on the performance of the seed production units (p<0,05). The R-square value of 0,80 indicates that the model affects the performance of the seedling unit by 80%. The model is declared valid and reliable (AVE >0,70; construct reliability =0,70). The results of the performance level identification indicate that the main motivation of the seed production unit in adopting CPIB certification is to improve product quality and expand market share. One of the main obstacles in the implementation of CPIB lies in the low consistency in recording activity logs. Based on the results of the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), an average conformity level of 93,01% was obtained with an average gap value of -0,31. These findings indicate that the actual conditions on the ground have not yet fully met the expectations of catfish hatchery entrepreneurs in Karawang Regency.
