      Evaluasi Pengukuran Waktu Baku pada Proses Perakitan Part Assy RCL 346 di PT XYZ

      Abstract
      PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang automotive lighting dan electrical components dengan salah satu produknya adalah Rear Combination Lamp 346, dalam pembuatan finished good terdapat permasalahan pada proses perakitan part assy RCL 346 yaitu perbedaan antara waktu dan elemen pekerjaan pada instruksi pekerjaan yaitu 74 detik dengan hasil produksi 48 pcs/jam dan waktu aktual yang dilakukan oleh manpower yaitu 49,90 detik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pembaruan menggunakan pengukuran waktu dengan metode jam henti (stopwatch) karena proses ini dilakukan secara berulang-ulang atau bersifat repetitive dan proses pekerjaannya berlangsung singkat. Setelah dilakukan pengukuran waktu ulang, didapatkan waktu baku proses perakitan part assy RCL 346 adalah 69,30 detik dengan hasil produksi 51 pcs/jam. Hal ini menunjukkan pentingnya pembaruan waktu baku dan hasil produksi yang berdampak pada produktivitas produksi.
       
      PT XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of automotive lighting and electrical components, with one of its main products being the Rear Combination Lamp (RCL) 346. During the assembly of this product, a discrepancy was observed between the time and work elements stated in the work instructions 74 seconds with a production output of 48 units per hour—and the actual time taken by the operator, which was recorded at 49.90 seconds. Given the repetitive and relatively short nature of the task, it was deemed necessary to re-evaluate the standard time using the stopwatch method. Following this reassessment, the standard time for assembling the RCL 346 component was adjusted to 69.30 seconds, with an improved production output of 51 units per hour. This outcome highlights the value of regularly updating standard times and production targets, as doing so plays a vital role in supporting operational efficiency and overall productivity.
