Penilaian Kesehatan Jalur Hijau Jalan Ramin Kampus IPB Darmaga dengan Metode Forest Health Monitoring

Abstract

Kampus IPB Darmaga memiliki ruang terbuka hijau yang luas, salah satunya adalah jalur hijau jalan. Keberadaan pohon memiliki peran yang penting pada jalur hijau. Keselamatan pengguna jalan perlu dijaga sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi kondisi pohon di jalur hijau yang dapat dilakukan dengan metode Forest Health Monitoring (FHM). Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai kesehatan pohon pada jalur hijau Jalan Ramin Kampus IPB Darmaga berdasarkan indikator vitalitas serta mengidentifikasi bentuk serangan hama dan penyakit yang menyebabkan kerusakan pada pohon. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode FHM berdasarkan indikator vitalitas, yaitu kondisi tajuk dan kerusakan pohon. Nilai akhir kesehatan jalur hijau ditentukan dari total skor Visual Crown Rating (VCR) dan Tree Damage Level Index (TDLI). Jumlah pohon yang ditemukan pada lokasi penelitian adalah 112 pohon terdiri dari 22 jenis dari 17 famili berbeda. Rata-rata nilai VCR yang didapatkan sebesar 3,2 menunjukkan kondisi baik. Nilai TDLI menunjukkan kondisi tanaman sehat sebanyak 83 pohon, kerusakan ringan sebanyak 27 pohon, kerusakan sedang sebanyak 2 pohon, dan tidak ditemukan pohon dengan kondisi kerusakan berat. Nilai akhir vitalitas menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 6,92 artinya kondisi tegakan jalur hijau Jalan Ramin tergolong sangat sehat.

IPB Darmaga campus has a large green open space, one of which is a green line. The existence of trees has an important role on the green line. The safety of road users needs to be maintained so it is necessary to evaluate the condition of trees on green lanes which can be done with the Forest Health Monitoring (FHM) method. This study aims to assess the health of trees on the green line of Jalan Ramin, IPB Darmaga Campus based on vitality indicators and identify the form of pest and disease attacks that cause damage to trees. The research was conducted using the FHM method based on vitality indicators, namely crown condition and tree damage. The final value of green line health is determined from the total score of Visual Crown Rating (VCR) and Tree Damage Level Index (TDLI). The number of trees found at the research site was 112 trees consisting of 22 species from 17 different families. The average VCR value obtained was 3,2, indicating good condition. The TDLI value shows a healthy plant condition of 83 trees, light damage of 27 trees, moderate damage of 2 trees, and no trees with severe damage conditions. The final value of vitality shows an average value of 6,92, meaning that the condition of the green line stand of Jalan Ramin is classified as very healthy.
