      Evaluasi dan Seleksi Fenotipe Bambu Tali Superior (Gigantochloa apus) untuk Material Konstruksi Revegetasi Mangrove

      Abstract
      Ekosistem mangrove memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan lingkungan pesisir, namun mengalami degradasi yang signifikan sehingga diperlukan upaya revegetasi. Teknik guludan menggunakan bambu tali (Gigantochloa apus) menjadi salah satu metode potensial dalam rehabilitasi mangrove, tetapi pemilihan fenotipe bambu sebagai material biokonstruksi yang optimal masih perlu diteliti. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengevaluasi karakteristik fenotipe 32 batang bambu tali yang dipilih secara acak dari delapan rumpun yang tumbuh di Hutan Bambu Rektorat, Kampus IPB Dramaga, Bogor. Metode penelitian menggunakan sistem skoring individu terhadap karakteristik signifikan hingga diperoleh kandidat bambu berkriteria superior. Skoring bambu superior menghasilkan 14 individu dari total 32 sampel yang dapat dikategorikan sebagai bambu unggul. Pemilihan individu dengan karakteristik superior ini berpotensi menghasilkan bahan tanam untuk meningkatkan efektivitas bambu sebagai material biokonstruksi revegetasi mangrove melalui teknik guludan yang lebih tahan lama.
       
      The mangrove ecosystem plays a crucial role in maintaining coastal environmental balance; however, significant degradation has necessitated revegetation efforts. The guludan technique using tali bamboo (Gigantochloa apus) is a promising method for mangrove rehabilitation, but the selection of optimal bamboo phenotypes for use as bioconstruction materials remains understudied. This study aims to evaluate the phenotypic characteristics of 32 randomly selected Gigantochloa apus bamboo culms from eight clumps located in the Hutan Bambu Rektorat, Dramaga Campus, Bogor. The research employed an individual scoring of significant traits to identify superior bamboo candidates. The superior bamboo scoring identified 14 individuals out of 32 samples as high-quality bamboo. Selecting individuals with superior characteristics has the potential to produce planting materials that enhance the effectiveness of bamboo as a bioconstruction material for mangrove revegetation through a more durable guludan technique.
