      Performa Produksi Puyuh Periode Grower dengan Pemberian Asap Cair Tempurung Kelapa Grade 2

      Abstract
      Puyuh salah satu ternak unggas yang dapat berproduksi dalam waktu yang cepat. Faktor yang mempengaruhi produktivitas puyuh salah satunya yaitu lingkungan mikroklimat. Kondisi mikroklimat lingkungan yang tinggi di Indonesia berada diatas zona nyaman puyuh. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan stres oksidatif dan penurunan produktivitas puyuh. Antioksidan dapat menurunkan stres oksidatif, salah satu sumber antioksidan yaitu asap cair tempurung kelapa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penggunaan asap cair tempurung kelapa grade 2 dalam air minum puyuh periode grower terhadap performa produksinya. Metode penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap yang terdiri dari 5 taraf perlakuan dengan 4 ulangan yaitu P0 (Kontrol), P1 (0,25 mL L-1 ACTK G2), P2 (0,50 mL L-1 ACTK G2), P3 (0,75 mL L-1 ACTK G2), dan P4 (1 mL L-1 ACTK G2). Variabel yang diukur yaitu kondisi lingkungan dan performa produksi puyuh yang meliputi bobot badan awal, bobot badan akhir, pertambahan bobot badan (PBB), konsumsi pakan, konsumsi air minum, konversi pakan, dan mortalitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian ACTK G2 tidak berpengaruh terhadap konsumsi pakan, konsumsi air minum, dan pertambahan bobot badan. Tingkat mortalitas pada penelitian ini yaitu 1 ekor yang disebabkan oleh prolapsus. Nilai FCR terbaik 4,08 ditemukan pada pemberian ACTK G2 0,075% atau 0,75 mL 1 L-1 air minum. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah performa puyuh periode grower terbaik diperoleh pada puyuh dengan pemberian asap cair tempurung kelapa grade 2 sebesar 0,075% atau 0,75 mL 1 L-1 air minum.
       
      Quail is one of the poultry that can produce eggs at an earlier time than chicken. One of the factors that affect quail productivity is the microclimate environment. High environmental conditions in Indonesia are above the quail's comfort zone. This can lead to oxidative stress and decreased quail productivity. Antioxidants can reduce oxidative stress, one source of antioxidants is coconut shell liquid smoke. This study analyzed the use of grade 2 coconut shell liquid smoke in quail drinking water in the grower period on their production performance. The research method used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatment levels with 4 replications, namely P0 (Control), P1 (0.25 mL L-1ACTK G2), P2 (0.50 mL L-1ACTK G2), P3 (0.75 mL L-1ACTK G2), and P4 (1 mL L1ACTK G2). Variables measured were environmental conditions and quail production performance including initial body weight, final body weight, body weight gain, feed consumption, drinking water consumption, feed conversion, and mortality. The results showed that ACTK G2 had no significant effect on feed consumption, drinking water consumption, and body weight gain. The mortality rate in this study was 1 head caused by prolapsus. The best FCR value 4,08 was obtained by addition of ACTK G2 0,075% or 0,75 mL 1 L-1 in drinking water. The conclusion of this study is the best performance of quail during grower period was obtained in quail addition of grade 2 coconut shell liquid smoke in drinking water 0,075% or 0,75 mL 1 L-1.
