      Pengaruh Biomassa Purun Tikus (Eleocharis dulcis) dan Pemupukan Kalium terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produktivitas Jagung di Lahan Pasang Surut

      Abstract
      Meningkatnya jumlah penduduk di Indonesia, membuat kebutuhan akan jagung meningkat. Budidaya jagung yang dilakukan di lahan pasang surut memiliki beberapa kendala yaitu pH tanah yang masam dan rendahnya unsur hara dalam tanah. Budidaya jenuh air (BJA) merupakan salah satu teknik yang dapat dilakukan untuk menangani kendala tersebut. Penggunaan bahan ameliorasi diharapkan mampu meningkatkan produksi jagung. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat pengaruh pemberian biomassa purun tikus dan pemupukan kalium terhadap pertumbuhan dan produktivitas jagung pada lahan pasang surut. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret?Agustus 2024 di di Desa Karyabakti, Kecamatan Rantau Rasau, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, Jambi. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan faktorial (RKLT) 2 faktor. Faktor pertama yaitu perlakuan dosis purun tikus 0, 2, 4, dan 6 ton ha-1 . Faktor kedua yaitu dosis K2O 50% sebanyak (75 kg KCl ha-1 ) dan 100% sebanyak (150 kg KCl ha-1 ). Terdapat 3 ulangan dengan 24 satuan percobaan. Data dibandingkan dengan uji F, jika perlakuan berbeda nyata maka dilakukan uji lanjut DMRT pada taraf 5%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemberian amelioran purun hanya mempengaruhi diameter tongkol dan tinggi tanaman pada umur 2, 4, dan 6 MST dan produktivitas. Produktivitas jagung tanpa amelioran tercapai sebesar 7,86 ton ha-1 , dan produktivitas tertinggi pada dosis amelioran 2 ton ha-1 tercapai sebesar 9,18 ton ha-1 . Demikian pula untuk dosis pupuk K tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua peubah pengamatan. Produktivitas dengan dosis pupuk K 50% dicapai sebesar 8,37 ton ha-1 dan dengan dosis pupuk K 100% sebesar 8,35 ton ha-1 .
       
      The increasing population in Indonesia has increased the need for corn. Corn cultivation carried out on tidal land has several obstacles, namely acidic soil pH and low soil nutrients. Saturated water cultivation (BJA) is one technique that can be done to overcome these obstacles. The use of amelioration materials is expected to increase corn production. This study aims to see the effect of providing purun tikus biomass and potassium fertilization on the growth and productivity of corn on tidal land. The study was conducted in March ~ August 2024 in Karyabakti Village, Rantau Rasau District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency, Jambi. The study used a 2-factor factorial design (RKLT). The first factor is the treatment of purun tikus doses of 0, 2, 4, and 6 tons ha-1 . The second factor is the K2O dose of 50% (75 kg KCl ha-1 ) and 100% (150 kg KCl ha-1 ). There were 3 replications with 24 experimental units. Data were compared with the F test, if the treatment was significantly different then a further DMRT test was carried out at the 5% level. The results showed that the administration of purun ameliorant only affected the cob diameter and plant height at the ages of 2, 4, and 6 MST and productivity. Corn productivity without ameliorant was achieved at 7.86 tons ha-1 , and the highest productivity at an ameliorant dose of 2 tons ha-1 was achieved at 9.18 tons ha-1 . Likewise, the dose of K fertilizer also did not significantly affect all observation variables. Productivity with a dose of 50% K fertilizer was achieved at 8.37 tons ha-1 and with a dose of 100% K fertilizer was 8.35 tons ha-1 .
