      Abstract
Mayoritas peternak Desa Palon memiliki posisi tawar (bargaining position) lemah dikarenakan keterbatasan informasi mengenai konsumen akhir.

The majority of farmers in Palon Village have a weak bargaining position due to limited information about end consumers. This study aims to identify the beef cattle marketing system and analyze the level of beef cattle marketing efficiency in Palon Village, Jepon Sub-district, Blora District. The study used 36 farmers as respondents, using both accidental and purposive sampling methods. Respondents of intermediary traders amounted to 5 people using the snowball sampling method. The methods of analysis in this research are qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results showed that in Palon Village there are four marketing channels. Channel II (farmer-collecting traders-consumers) is the most efficient marketing channel because it has the highest sales volume, lowest marketing costs, lowest marketing margin, a farmer's share of 95%, and a profit-to-cost ratio of 1.67. Farmers are expected to not always rely on intermediary traders or blantik, make more efforts to seek market information about consumers, and join livestock groups, and the government is expected to issue a policy regarding the determination of cattle selling prices.
