      Optimasi Pemupukan Nitrogen Pada Tanaman Sedap Malam Varietas Roro Anteng

      Abstract
      Bunga sedap malam (Polianthes tuberosa L.) merupakan salah satu bunga populer di Indonesia. Bunga sedap malam dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bunga potong untuk rangkaian bunga dan mempunyai potensi besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai bahan baku minyak atsiri. Saat ini produksi bunga sedap malam belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan minyak atsiri. Optimasi pemupukan merupakan salah satu upaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan produksi sedap malam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman dan umbi Roro Anteng melalui optimasi pemupukan N. Penelitian dilakukan di Green Smart Farm Cikabayan, IPB University, pada bulan Juni hingga Desember 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok lengkap dengan 2 faktor yaitu dosis pupuk 600 kg ha-1 , 450 kg ha-1 , dan 300 kg ha-1 , dan frekuensi pemupukan 2 kali, 3 kali, dan 4 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemupukan N dosis tertinggi 600 kg ha-1 dan frekuensi pemberian 2 kali selama penelitian menghasilkan tanaman sedap malam dengan jumlah daun lebih banyak dibandingkan dosis 450 kg ha-1 dan 300 kg ha-1 , dan dibandingkan dengan frekuensi pemupukan 3 kali dan 4 kali. Dosis dan frekuensi N yang berbeda tidak mempengaruhi pembungaan dan kualitas bunga sedap malam. Dosis N 600 kg ha-1 menghasilkan umbi anakan 51,6% lebih banyak dibandingkan dosis 450 kg ha-1 dan 300 kg ha-1 , oleh karena itu dosis 600 kg ha-1 dianjurkan untuk memperoleh pertumbuhan tanaman dan produksi bibit umbi sedap malam yang baik di Bogor.
       
      The tuberose flower (Polianthes tuberosa L.) is one of the most popular flowers in Indonesia. Tuberose flowers can be used as cut flowers for flower arrangements and have great potential to be developed as raw materials for essential oils. Currently, tuberose flower production is not able to meet the need for essential oils. Fertilization optimization is one effort to meet tuberose production needs. This research aims to increase the growth of Roro Anteng plants and tubers through optimizing N fertilization. The research was conducted at Green Smart Farm Cikabayan, IPB University, from June to December 2023. This research used a complete randomized block design with 2 factors, namely a fertilizer dose of 600 kg ha-1 , 450 kg ha-1 , and 300 kg ha-1, and fertilization frequency 2 times, 3 times, and 4 times. The research results showed that the highest N fertilization dose of 600 kg ha-1 and the frequency of application 2 times during the study produced tuberose plants with a greater number of leaves compared to doses of 450 kg ha-1 and 300 kg ha-1 , and compared to a fertilization frequency of 3 times and 4 times. Different N doses and frequencies did not affect the flowering and quality of tuberose flowers. The nitrogen dosage of 600 kg ha-1 produced 51.6% more daughter tubers compared to the dosages of 450 kg ha-1 and 300 kg ha-1 , therefore a dose of 600 kg ha-1 is recommended to obtain good plant growth and production of tuberose tuber seeds in Bogor.
