      Karakterisasi Struktur Sekretori, Histokimia, dan Fitokimia Tumbuhan Obat Potensial Antibakteri Myrtaceae di Kabupaten Belitung

      Abstract
      Kabupaten Belitung terkenal dengan kekayaan keanekaragaman hayatinya, termasuk tumbuhan famili Myrtaceae. Masyarakat Melayu di Kabupaten Belitung biasa menggunakan tumbuhan dari Myrtaceae seperti Syzygium bankense, Syzygium euneuron, dan Rhodomyrtus tomentosa untuk keperluan pengobatan tradisional. Namun, informasi dasar ketiga spesies tersebut masih perlu diungkapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi struktur sekretori dan akumulasi senyawa metabolit sekunder yang terkandung di dalam jaringan tumbuhan S. bankense, S. euneuron, dan R. tomentosa. Pengamatan struktur sekretori, histokimia, dan fitokimia dilakukan pada organ daun. Uji fitokimia dilakukan dengan uji kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan struktur sekretori berupa sel idioblas terdapat pada helai daun tumbuhan S. bankense, dan S. euneuron. Rongga sekretori dapat ditemukan di ketiga spesies. Trikoma kelenjar dan non-kelenjar hanya dijumpai pada R. tomentosa. Struktur sekretori yang dijumpai pada S. bankense diantaranya sel idioblas yang mengandung senyawa fenol, lipofilik, dan terpenoid, dan rongga sekretori yang mengandung senyawa lipofilik dan terpenoid. Struktur sekretori yang dijumpai pada S. euneuron diantaranya sel idioblas yang mengandung senyawa fenol, alkaloid, lipofilik, flavonoid, terpenoid, dan tanin, serta rongga sekretori yang mengandung senyawa fenol dan flavonoid. Struktur sekretori yang dijumpai pada R. tomentosa diantaranya trikoma kelenjar dan non-kelenjar dan rongga sekretori yang mengandung senyawa alkaloid, flavonoid, terpenoid, dan tanin. Hasil analisis fitokimia S. bankense, S. euneuron, dan R. tomentosa mengandung senyawa steroid, saponin, tanin, dan flavonoid. Senyawa triterpenoid dan alkaloid hanya dijumpai pada R. tomentosa.
       
      Belitung Regency is renowned for its rich biodiversity, including plants from the Myrtaceae family. The Malay community in Belitung Regency commonly uses Myrtaceae species, such as Syzygium bankense, Syzygium euneuron, and Rhodomyrtus tomentosa, for traditional medicine. However, basic information about the three species still needs to be disclosed. This study aims to identify the secretory structure and accumulation of secondary metabolite compounds in S. bankense, S. euneuron, and R. tomentosa tissues. Observations of secretory structure, histochemistry, and phytochemistry were conducted on leaf organs. Qualitative phytochemistry tests were performed. The study's results show that idioblastic cells are present in the leaves of S. bankense and S. euneuron. Secretory cavities can be found in all three species. Non-glandular and glandular trichomes are only found in R. tomentosa. The secretory structures found in S. bankense include idioblastic cells containing phenolic, lipophilic, and terpenoid compounds, as well as secretory cavities containing lipophilic and terpenoid compounds. The secretory structures found in S. euneuron include idioblastic cells containing phenolic, alkaloid, lipophilic, flavonoid, terpenoid, and tannin compounds and secretory cavities containing phenolic and flavonoid compounds. The secretory structures found in R. tomentosa include non-glandular and glandular trichomes and secretory cavities containing alkaloid, flavonoid, terpenoid, and tannin compounds. The phytochemistry analysis of S. bankense, S. euneuron, and R. tomentosa found the presence of steroid, saponin, tannin, and flavonoid compounds. Triterpenoid and alkaloid compounds were only found in R. tomentosa.
