Pengaruh Lingkungan, Motivasi, dan Pengalaman Berwirausaha Terhadap Keberlanjutan Usaha Mahasiswa Peserta Program Kewirausahaan IPB

Abstract

IPB merupakan kampus berbasis kewirausahaan yang aktif menyelenggarakan program kewirausahaan bagi mahasiswanya. Namun, dalam beberapa penelitian terdahulu menyebutkan bahwa keberlanjutan usaha mahasiswa setelah program berakhir tergolong sedikit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor lingkungan terhadap motivasi dan pengalaman berwirausaha mahasiswa peserta program kewirausahaan IPB serta menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan, motivasi, dan pengalaman berwirausaha terhadap keberlanjutan usaha mahasiswa peserta program kewirausahaan IPB. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengisian kuesioner secara online melalui Google Form oleh 94 mahasiswa menggunakan teknik cluster sampling. Data diolah menggunakan alat analisis Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square pada software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Faktor lingkungan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi dan pengalaman berwirausaha. (2) Motivasi dan pengalaman berwirausaha berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan usaha mahasiswa, namun faktor lingkungan berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan usaha.

IPB is an entrepreneurship-based campus that actively organizes entrepreneurship programs for its students. However, several previous studies have stated that the sustainability of student businesses after the program ends is relatively small. This study aims to analyze the influence of environmental factors on the motivation and entrepreneurial experience of students participating in the IPB entrepreneurship program and to analyze the influence of the environment, motivation, and entrepreneurial experience on the sustainability of student businesses participating in the IPB entrepreneurship program. Data collection was carried out by filling out an online questionnaire via Google Form by 94 students using the cluster sampling technique. The data was processed using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square analysis tool on SmartPLS software. The results of the study showed that (1) Environmental factors have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial motivation and experience. (2) Entrepreneurial motivation and experience have a positive and significant effect on student business sustainability, but environmental factors have no effect and are not significant on business sustainability.
