      Efek Perbedaan Warna Cahaya Lampu Kandang Pada Pertambahan Bobot Badan dan Morfometrik Tokek Rumah (Gekko Gecko) Jantan

      Abstract
      Tokek rumah (Gekko Gecko) merupakan kelompok vertebrata (reptil) yang termasuk dalam kekayaan hayati Indonesia. Tokek rumah memiliki tubuh pipih mendatar dengan permukaan tubuh diselimuti oleh sisik, dua pasang tungkai, tympanum, dan tulang dada. Tokek rumah memiliki penglihatan warna trikromatik dengan sensitivitas terhadap warna cahaya tertentu. Tokek rumah memiliki kemampuan adaptasi yang kuat terhadap cahaya rendah dan suhu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efek perbedaan warna cahaya lampu kandang terhadap pertambahan bobot badan dan morfometrik tokek rumah jantan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan warna cahaya lampu, yaitu tanpa lampu (kontrol), hijau, ungu, biru, dan merah muda dengan 3 kali pengulangan dan diuji lanjut dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertambahan bobot badan yang signifikan (P<0,05) terjadi pada tokek yang diberi cahaya lampu berwarna biru. Pemberian cahaya lampu dengan warna yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap pertambahan bobot badan, tetapi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan morfometrik tokek rumah jantan.
       
      Tokay gecko (Gekko gecko) is a group of vertebrata (reptiles) that belong to the biological wealth of Indonesia. The tokay gecko has a horizontal peeled body with a body surface covered by spikes, two pairs of limbs, the tympanum, and the chest bone and has a trichromatic colour vision with peak sensitivity to light. Geckos have strong adaptability to low light and temperature. The research was aimed at analyzing the influence of light differences on body weight increases and the morphometrics of the tokay geckos male. The study used the Complete Random Design (RAL) of five light color treatments, namely without light (control), green, purple, blue and pink with 3 repetitions and further tested duncan. The results showed significant body weight gain (P<0,05) occurred in geckos that were given blue light. The provision with different colors lights has a significant effect on body weight gain, but not provide a significant effect on the morphometric growth of tokay geckos male.
