      Abstract
      Budidaya ikan hias merupakan usaha budidaya yang banyak dilakukan pada saat ini khususnya budidaya ikan hias sapu-sapu helikopter Sturisoma panamense. Pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup merupakan faktor utama yang menentukan keberhasilan dalam budidaya ikan hias. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau efektivitas pemberian spirulina dengan dosis berbeda kepada pakan komersial berbentuk serbuk terhadap laju pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup larva ikan hias sapu-sapu helikopter. Perlakuan terdiri dari penambahan spirulina 3% (A), 6% (B), dan 9% (C). Ikan hias sapu-sapu helikopter ditebar awal dengan jumLah 25 ekor di pelihara menggukan baki dengan ukuran 40 x 30 x 15 cm di pelihara selama 21 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan B dengan angka pertumbuhan panjang mutlak sebesar 1,79 cm serta pertumbuhan laju pertumbuhan panjang harian sebesar 0,085 cm/hari dan kelangasungan hidup sebesar 87% menunjukan angka yang terbaik untuk kegiatan pemeliharaan larva ikan hias sapu-sapu helikopter
       
      Ornamental fish cultivation is a cultivation business that is widely carried out nowadays, especially cultivating ornamental helicopter fish Sturisoma Panamanian. Growth and survival are the main factors that determine success in ornamental fish cultivation. This study aims to review the effectiveness of giving different doses of spirulina to commercial feed in powder form on the growth rate and survival of helicopter broomstick ornamental fish larva. The treatment consisted of adding 3% (A), 6% (B) and 9% (C) spirulina. Helicopter broom ornamental fish were stocked initially with total 25 fish, kept using trays measuring 40 x 30 x 15 cm and kept for 21 days. The results of the research showed that treatment B with an absolute length growth rate of 1,79 cm and a daily length growth rate of 0,085 cm/day and a survival rate of 87% showed the best figures for rearing activities for ornamental helicopter fish larva
