      Abstract

Money plays a crucial role in the economy, particularly as a medium of exchange and payment. Technological advancements have transformed money into digital forms, such as e-money and cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency utilizes blockchain technology for decentralization, transparency, and immutability; however, it has not yet fully complied with Sharia principles. Efforts to develop Sharia-compliant crpto asset have been undertaken, such as GoldX in Malaysia, while Indonesia has not yet implemented such a crypto asset. MUI has declared that cryptocurrency is haram as a currency but halal as a commodity if certain conditions are met. This research aims to identify the priority order of strategies for developing Sharia-compliant crypto asset in Indonesia. The research method used is ANPSWOT to prioritize the formulated strategies. The results indicate that the aspects of strength and opportunity have equally strong influences and are the most important factors in the development of Sharia-compliant crypto asset in Indonesia. The priority strategies that need to be implemented include the application of crypto asset by recording using blockchain for underlying assets that hold potential in Indonesia, such as carbon trading, SMEs, and other real assets
