Analisis Nilai Ekonomi Total Revegetasi Lahan Bekas Tambang PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk Unit Citeureup

Abstract

PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk merupakan industri semen di Indonesia yang melakukan sendiri penambangan bahan utama semen yaitu batu kapur dan tanah liat. Indocement telah melakukan kegiatan revegetasi pada lahan bekas tambang sejak tahun 2004. Manfaat lingkungan seringkali dinilai secara rendah sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan eksploitasi sumber daya alam yang berlebih. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengestimasi serapan karbon dari area revegetasi lahan bekas tambang Indocement Unit Citeureup sebagai salah satu nilai keberhasilan area revegetasi, (2) menganalisis nilai ekonomi total pemanfaatan lahan bekas tambang untuk revegetasi, (3) merumuskan strategi kebijakan pengembangan area revegetasi lahan bekas tambang Indocement Unit Citeureup agar berkelanjutan. Fokus pada penelitian ini adalah area revegetasi Quarry D dengan luas 67,94 ha dan Quarry Hambalang dengan luas 28,15 ha. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa area revegetasi Indocement Unit Citeureup memiliki nilai ekonomi total Rp2.759.217.662.803 dengan potensi nilai ekonomi terbesar dari nilai guna tidak langsung.

PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk is a cement industry in Indonesia that mines the main cement ingredients, namely limestone and clay. Indocement has carried out revegetation activities on ex-mining land since 2004. The environmental benefits are still often undervalued, which has the potential to lead to over-exploitation of natural resources. The objectives of this research are (1) to estimate carbon uptake from the revegetation area of ex-mining land in the Citeureup Unit of Indocement as one of the success values of the revegetation area, (2) to analyze the total economic value of using ex-mining land for revegetation, (3) formulate a policy strategy for developing the area revegetation of ex-mining land in the Indocement Citeureup Unit so that it is sustainable. The focus of this research is the revegetation area of Quarry D with an area of 67.94 ha and Quarry Hambalang with an area of 28.15 ha. The results of this study indicate that the Indocement Unit Citeureup revegetation area has a total economic value of IDR2,759,217,662,803 with the greatest potential economic value from indirect use value.
