      Tingkat Kepatuhan Membaca Label Pangan pada Mahasiswa Sekolah Vokasi IPB Angkatan 57

      Abstract
      Perkembangan era globalisasi membuat konsumen dihadapkan berbagai pilihan produk pangan yang menawarkan keunggulan baik dari merek, komposisi bahan, maupun kandungan zat gizi. Sesuai dengan pesan Pedoman Gizi Seimbang (PGS) menyatakan penting membaca label pangan. Membaca label pangan harus dilakukan oleh semua masyarakat, terutama mahasiswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui Intensitas membaca, persepsi informasi label terpenting informasi label terpenting, dan tingkat kepatuhan membaca label pangan pada mahasiswa SJMP dan non SJMP Sekolah Vokasi Angkatan 57. Penelitian ini termasuk kedalam kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner online yang disebarkan kepada 96 responden yaitu 48 mahasiswa SJMP dan 48 mahasiswa non SJMP. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui keterangan label pangan yang selalu dibaca oleh mahasiswa SJMP 85,4% dan mahasiswa non SJMP 75% yaitu nama produk. Keterangan yang paling penting dibaca oleh mahasiswa SJMP 93,8% dan mahasiswa non SJMP 79,2% yaitu keterangan kedaluwarsa. Tingkat kepatuhan membaca label pangan mahasiswa SJMP 75% dan mahasiswa non SJMP 63% Sekolah Vokasi angkatan 57 termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada tingkat kepatuhan membaca label pangan antara mahasiswa SJMP dan non SJMP.
       
      The development of the globalization era means that consumers are faced with various choices of food products that offer advantages in terms of brand, ingredient composition, and nutritional content. In accordance with the message of the Balanced Nutrition Guidelines (PGS), it is important to read food labels. Reading food labels must be done by all people, especially students. The aim of this research is to determine the intensity of reading, preception of the most important label information, and level of compliance with reading food labels among SJMP and non-SJMP Vocational School students in class of 57. This research is quantitative and descriptive. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data were collected using an online questionnaire that was distributed to 96 respondents, namely 48 SJMP students and 48 non-SJMP students. Based on the research results, it is known that the intensity of reading is always read by SJMP students 85.4% and non-SJMP students 75% is the product name. Preception of the most important label informati by SJMP students 93.8% and non-SJMP students 79.2% is the expiration information. The level of compliance with reading food labels for SJMP students 75% and non-SJMP students 63% at Vocational School class 57 is in the medium category. There is a significant difference in the level of compliance with reading food labels between SJMP and non-SJMP students.
