      Verifikasi Metode Japanese Industrial Standards K 0102 untuk Uji Nitrat (NO3-) dalam Air Limbah secara Spektrofotometri UV-Visible

      Abstract
      Air limbah adalah hasil buangan proses kegiatan industri atau domestik yang mengandung bahan pencemar. Salah satu senyawa kimia yang menyebabkan pencemaran adalah nitrat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memverifikasi metode pengujian nitrat dalam air limbah yang mengacu pada JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) K 0102 UV-Visible di Laboratorium Kimia air dan Lingkungan BBSPJIA Kota Bogor. Hasil pengujian dengan metode brusin sulfat memperoleh persamaan regresi dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,9973, nilai akurasi sebesar 92,38%, presisi menghasilkan %RSD sebesar 7,2956%, nilai limit deteksi instrumen sebesar 0,0668 mg/L, nilai limit deteksi metode sebesar 0,2056 mg/L, dan nilai limit kuantitasi sebesar 0,2042 mg/L. Hasil verifikasi menunjukkan bahwa metode uji JIS K 0102 untuk nitrat dalam air limbah secara spektrofotometri UV-Visible telah memenuhi syarat keberterimaan sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai analisis rutin di Laboratorium Kimia Air dan Lingkungan BBSPJIA Kota Bogor.
       
      Waste water is the waste product of industrial or domestic activities which contains pollutants. One of the chemical compounds that causes pollution is nitrate. The purpose of this study is to validate the JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) K 0102 method for measuring nitrate in wastewater at the BBSPJIA Bogor City Water and Environmental Chemistry Laboratory. The verification results display a regression equation with a quantitation limit value of 0.2042 mg/L, an instrument detection limit value of 0.0668 mg/L, a method detection limit value of 0.2056 mg/L, and an accuracy value of 92.38%. The precision yields a percentage RSD of 7.2956%. The verification results show that the JIS K 0102 test method for nitrate in wastewater using UV-Visible spectrophotometry has met the acceptance requirements so that it can be used as a routine analysis at the BBSPJIA Bogor City Water and Environmental Chemistry Laboratory.
