      Abstract
      Pengelolaan ekosistem lamun yang tepat perlu dilakukan untuk mencapai keberlanjutan, pendekatan yang dilakukan yaitu dengan jasa ekosistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun strategi pengelolaan ekosistem lamun Pulau Tidung dengan pendekatan profil dan valuasi ekosistem lamun. Data primer yang diambil berupa data ekologi lamun dan data sekunder yang terkait dengan jasa lamun sebagai pelindung pesisir dan penyerap serta penyimpan karbon. Analisis yang dilakukan berupa analisis kesesuaian wisata (IKW), daya dukung kawasan, dan willingness to pay, serta analisis SWOT untuk menyusun strategi pengelolaan. Hasil yang didapatkan tutupan lamun berkisar 12,12% - 56,40% dimana tergolong kedalam status kurang kaya/kurang sehat. Total nilai ekonomi lamun di Pulau Tidung Besar yaitu Rp13.480.524.018/tahun. Nilai ekonomi ekosistem lamun dipengaruhi oleh kondisi padang lamun. Strategi pengembangan yang dapat dilakukan adalah growth strategy.
       
      Proper management of the seagrass ecosystem is necessary to achieve sustainability, using an ecosystem services approach. This study aims to develop management strategy for the Tidung Island seagrass ecosystem through profiling and valuation of the seagrass ecosystem. Primary data collected include seagrass ecology data and secondary data related to seagrass services as coastal protection and carbon absorption and storage. Analyses conducted include tourism suitability index (TSI), carrying capacity, willingness to pay, and SWOT analysis to formulate management strategies. The results showed that seagrass coverage ranges from 12,12% up to 56,40%, which is classified as under poor/less healthy status. The total economic value of seagrass in Tidung Besar Island is IDR 13.480.524.018 per year. The economic value of the seagrass ecosystem is influenced by the condition of the seagrass beds. A growth strategy is recommended for development.
