      Determinan Tingkat Partisipasi Angkatan Kerja Perempuan di Negara Emerging Markets

      Abstract
      Pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu negara bergantung pada banyaknya tambahan pendapatan masyarakat dari aktivitas perekonomiannya. Pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak terlepas dari keterlibatan seluruh lapisan masyarakat, termasuk peran perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi dan determinan tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja perempuan di negara Emerging Markets selama periode tahun 2012-2021. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif untuk menggambarkan terkait kondisi tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja perempuan di negara Emerging Markets serta analisis data panel untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja perempuan di negara Emerging Markets dengan menggunakan data cross section 18 negara dan time series selama 10 tahun dari tahun 2012 hingga 2021. Model regresi data panel yang digunakan ialah Random Effects Model dengan hasil estimasi menunjukkan bahwa variabel Gross Domestic Product per kapita, tingkat fertilitas, rata lama sekolah, dan tingkat inflasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja perempuan. Variabel lainnya yakni ekspor dan tingkat pengangguran berpengaruh tidak signfikan terhadap tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja perempuan.
       
      The economic growth of a country depends on the additional income of the people from its economic activities. Economic growth cannot be separated from the involvement of all levels of society, including the role of women. This research aimed to analyze the conditions and determinants of female labor force participation rate in Emerging Markets countries during 2012 until 2021. The analytical method that we used is qualitative descriptive analysis to provide an overview of the conditions of female labor force participation rate in Emerging Markets and we used panel data regression analysis to analyze the factors that affected female labor force participation rate in Emerging Markets by using cross data section for 18 countries and time series for 10 years during the period 2012 until 2021. We used Random Effect Model (REM) for panel data regression analysis, the results showed that GDP per capita variable, inflation rate, education and fertility rate has a positive and significant effect on female labor force participation rate in Emerging Markets. Another variable such as exports and unemployemnt rate had no significant effect on female labor force participation rate in Emerging Markets.
