      Abstract

Indonesia has a considerable number of intellectually disabled individuals, with 7.7 million recorded cases in 2020. They continue to face discrimination, partly due to their lack of self-care abilities, which often inconvenience others. Characteristics such as difficulty in concentration, easy boredom, and challenges in understanding complex concepts necessitate efforts to develop appropriate learning methods. The research aims to maximize the use of storytelling aided by puppet-based learning media named Peca and Lata to stimulate sensorimotor, auditory, and visual skills in mildly intellectually disabled elementary school students. The study employs a quantitative method using a sign test with the null hypothesis H_0 rejected when Z_h
