      Evaluasi Ketersediaan Air Irigasi Pertanian Menggunakan Model Soil Water Assesment Tool (Studi Kasus: Daerah Irigasi Rentang)

      Abstract
      Ketersediaan air irigasi merupakan salah satu faktor penting bagi keberlangsungan kegiatan pertanian. Daerah Irigasi (DI) Rentang memiliki peranan krusial sebagai penyuplai air irigasi ke tiga wilayah lumbung padi nasional di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi ketersediaan air pada DI Rentang menggunakan model SWAT. Proses evaluasi akan dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan neraca air ketersediaan dan kebutuhan air irigasi. Hasil analisis menujukan bahwa model SWAT mampu memberikan performa yang baik dalam proses estimasi ketersediaan air, hal ini terlihat dari hasil uji statistik debit simulasi setalah dikalibrasi menghasilkan nilai R2 = 0,73 dan NSE = 0,72. Hasil analisis kebutuhan air disajikan dalam tiga skenario berbeda, yakni 1 L/detik, 1,5 L/detik, dan 2 L/detik. Perbandingan neraca ketersediaan dan kebutuhan air menunjukkan bahwa pada musim tanam 1 ketersediaan debit air pada DI Rentang masih belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan air secara optimal, terutama pada skenario kebutuhan air 1,5 dan 2 L/detik. Di sisi lain, pada musim tanam 2 atau pada musim kemarau, ketersediaan air pada DI Rentang hampir sama sekali tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan air irigasi pada semua skenario. Oleh sebab itu, perlu dilakukan langkah manajemen irigasi yang baik untuk meminimalisir penurunan produktivitas pertanian dan risiko kegagalan panen.
       
      The availability of irrigation water is crucial for sustaining agricultural activities. The Rentang irrigation area is essential for supplying irrigation water to three national rice granary regions in Indonesia. This study uses the SWAT model to assess the water availability in the Rentang irrigation area. The evaluation involves comparing the water availability balance with the irrigation water requirements. The analysis results indicate that the SWAT model effectively estimates water availability, as shown by statistical tests with a simulated discharge R2 value of 0.73 and an NSE value of 0.72 after calibration. The water requirement analysis is presented in three scenarios: 1 liter per second (L/s), 1.5 L/s, and 2 L/s. The comparison between water availability and demand reveals that during the first planting season, the water availability in the Rentang irrigation area falls short of meeting optimal irrigation needs, especially in the 1.5 and 2 L/s demand scenarios. Additionally, during the second planting season or the dry season, the water availability in the Rentang irrigation area is insufficient to meet irrigation needs across all scenarios. Therefore, effective irrigation management steps are necessary to minimize agricultural productivity decline and harvest failure risks.
