      Abstract
      PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi produk minuman kemasan. Pada proses produksinya, terdapat permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan yaitu adanya produk minuman yang tidak sesuai dengan standar. Permasalahan tersebut penulis akan melakukan evaluasi terhadap tingkat kecacatan produk, faktor penyebab produk cacat, serta alternatif solusi yang akan diberikan ke perusahaan. Dalam proses pengerjaan akan menggunakan metode DMAIC dan seven tools. Berdasarkan data yang ada, jenis cacat yang dievaluasi pada area filling yaitu kurang isi, seal miring, dan cup double. Jumlah cacat untuk kurang isi 6564 cup, seal miring 1552 cup, dan cup double 594 cup. Faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya produk defect yaitu berasal dari faktor 4M yang diuraikan dengan menggunakan diagram fishbone. Hasil analisis diagram batang, memperlihatkan prioritas perbaikan yang perlu dilakukan yaitu perbaikan terhadap produk defect kurang isi. Berikutnya dilakukan penentuan alternatif solusi perbaikan khususnya jenis defect kurang isi, sehingga perusahaan dapat mengambil tindakan perbaikan dan pencegahan untuk tetap menjaga kualitas produk yang dihasilkan.
       
      PT XYZ is a company that produces packaged beverage products. In the production process, there are problems faced by the company, namely the existence of beverage products that are not following the standard. The author will evaluate the level of product defects, factors that cause defective products, and alternative solutions that will be given to the company. The process will use the DMAIC method and seven tools. Based on existing data, the types of defects evaluated in the filling area are underfilled, skewed seals, and double cups. The number of defects for underfill is 6564 cups, the skewed seal is 1552 cups, and the double cup is 594 cups. Factors that cause product defects are derived from the 4M factors described using fishbone diagrams. The results of the bar chart analysis show that the priority of improvement that needs to be done is the improvement of underfilled defective products. Next, the determination of alternative improvement solutions is carried out, especially for the type of underfill defect, so that the company can take corrective and preventive actions to maintain the quality of the products produced.
