      Prediksi Kenyamanan Termal dan Rekayasa Teknik Sirkulasi Udara Pada Area Produksi Forming

      Abstract
      Kenyamanan termal merupakan kondisi suhu maupun kelembaban lingkungan yang sesuai bagi manusia. Aspek kenyamanan termal mempengaruhi produktivitas manusia dalam menjalankan aktivitas. Ruangan produksi merupakan salah satu fokus yang perlu dikaji terkait dengan kenyamanan termal. suhu dan kelembaban menjadi aspek utama dalam menentukan kenyamanan dan kinerja karyawan. Suhu yang cenderung panas akan menimbulkan ketidak-nyamanan, kegelisahaan, sakit kepala, hingga paling parah yaitu kematian. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui tingkat kenyamanan termal pada suatu area produksi forming di industri manufaktur asal Jepang. Metode Predicted Mean Vote (PMV), Predicted Percentage of Dissastified (PPD) dan Thermal Humidity Index (THI) digunakan untuk menentukan tingkat kenyaman termal. Hasil analisa menunjukan tingkat kenyamanan termal ruangan produksi forming panas dan tidak nyaman. Kontribusi utama dari penelitian adalah solusi rekayasa sirkulasi udara menggunakan turbin ventilator dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan termal di dalam area produksi forming dengan mengoptimalkan sirkulasi udara dan mengurangi suhu yang tinggi sehingga tercipta lingkungan kerja yang lebih nyaman bagi karyawan sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas karyawan.
       
      Thermal comfort is a condition of temperature and humidity environment suitable for humans. Aspects of thermal comfort affect human productivity when carrying out activities. The production room is one focus related to thermal comfort that needs to be studied. Temperature and humidity are the main factors that determine employee comfort and performance. Temperatures that tend to be hot will cause discomfort, anxiety, and headaches until the most severe is death. The study aimed to determine the thermal comfort level in a forming production area in the Japanese manufacturing industry. Predicted Mean Vote (PMV), Predicted Percentage of Dissatisfied (PPD), and Thermal Humidity Index (THI) methods are used to determine the level of thermal comfort. The results of the analysis show that the thermal comfort level of the forming production room is hot and uncomfortable. The main contribution of the research is an air circulation engineering solution using turbine ventilators to improve thermal comfort in the forming production area by optimizing air circulation and reducing high temperatures to create a more comfortable working environment for employees and increase employee productivity.
